The Humanitarian Profiles series is a set of supplemental materials which serves to enrich the students’ fund of background knowledge about the history and roles of the various players in the humanitarian domain.  In addition to providing background, these profiles will respond to the expectations which many students bring to DMHA courses, i.e., that there will be some inspirational or motivational content, and an indication that people can make contributions that matter.
